Bates Chemical was established in August 1994 as a Houston / Beaumont area distributor of process chemicals.Our original focus was the distribution of process chemicals into the gas processing, refining, petrochemical and water treatment market.In 1995, our product line was expanded to include activated carbon and carbon vessels for liquid or vapor phase purification; chemical and hydrocarbon spill adsorbents, as well as filtration and waste solidification media such as diatomaceous earth, polymers and fly ash.Bates Chemical incorporated in January 1996; continuing to provide personalized services, technical support and prompt delivery.In 1997, Bates Chemical began to provide on-site change-out services for molecular sieve, ion exchange resin, and activated carbon.This service additionally offers offsite regeneration for each of those products.Our service area has expanded to include not only the Gulf Coast from our corporate office in Crosby, Texas, but we have expanded to include New Mexico and the Midwest states out of our Chicago, Illinois office.All products and related services are supported by local technical personnel, which can assist with technical product information, project planning, equipment sizing, on-site change-out services and regeneration of adsorbent, desiccants, activated carbon and ion exchange resins.Bates Chemical’s goal is to become the number one choice of chemicals and services within our market area, while incorporating high quality standards and safe operating practices.As an independent petrochemical distributor, you can be assured that your service experience requirements will be handled with responsive, informative, friendly, and personal interest, which can be adapted promptly to each customer’s needs and changing market conditions.
